Bosch WFB 2005 not pumping water or spinning?

Washing Machine is not pumping out the water or spinning. I have checked the filter and this is clean. The outlet pipe is also clear.

Any ideas on cause would be appreciated.

Machine is around 8 years old.

Check the pump filter under the bottom plastic cover on the front of the machine, it's a circular thing about 2 inches in diameter.
There's info on it in the user manual too :-)
