why is my fujitsu esprimo laptop so hot?

my laptop heats up so quickly and hot air is emitted from the side making it too hot to sit on my lap... what causes this or is it a known fault ?

Hi Con, I haven't heard of this before but, as I'm sure you already know, the CPU causes heat. The best advice I can give is to go onto the Fujitsu website and download all the latest drivers available for your laptop. There may be an updated driver for the CPU.
