Where can I get replacement elements for my Sunbeam toastematic T40 ?

I have managed to get my toaster to work again by rejoining the broken element, but now it burns the toast. I really need new elements, & instructions on how to replace them, & make ajustments to the browning control. I would appreciate any advice, this still seems to be the best toaster ever made.

Thanking you,

Ken

I ran into the same problem with my T40. The element broke and then I couldn't find a way to rewire it. I can't silver solder so I can't join the element to the connector, etc. I have since purchased about four toasters looking to replace the element in my old unit. These were all repairable, however and now I am trying to figure out how to adjust them properly. There is a manual for the T20 at Daves Repair.com, which is quite useful but still doesn't quite give all that I require for the later model. I was looking around for a manual when I saw your question.
