how can i fix renalt scenic 1998 problem please?

i have a renult scenic 1998,i accelerate but it only moves about 15 mpr! it revs no problem only up to about 30 revs though.even if you put ur foot to the floor!!.its as if its choking itself......i am desperate as i work far....

sounds like a blocked exhaust,catalyst damaged (hit it to see if it rattles)or a blocked fuel filter causing low fuel pressure.fuel filter is the easiest and cheapest if your unsure.
