How can I fix it?

I have a holiday cottage and over new year the people have placed a hot pan on the work top and it has bubbled, in 2 places both about the size of a 10p, one has broken and one has not. What can be done?
The worktop is now discontinued and if we have to replace it it will cost several hundred pounds and the tiling will have to be taken off and replaced to get the worktops in again. HELP

Most small areas of burnt, chipped, or scratched; kitchen worktops (and other laminated units) can be successfully restored to 'as new' condition; by surface restoration specialists such as myself. There are several large companies offering 'invisible' repairs to fixtures and fittings around the home; but most of them are contracted to only work for the major UK housing developers, where their high hourly charge on site is a very cost effective alternative to replacing whole kitchen or bathroom units etc.
