NISSAN MICRA SPARK PLUGS?

I WANT TO CHANGE THE SPARK PLUGS ON A NISSAN MICRA IOOO cc 2003 THE PLUGS (NGK LFR 5 AP -11)THE COST OF THESE PLUGS £36 PER SET IS THERE ANY OTHER PLUGS I CAN USE WHICH IS NOT TO COSTLY

aye, you're being ripped off-go to a motor factor like Partco (Unipart) and get a set for one sixth of that, I've just done it-might be a bit tight so a squirt of wd40 down the plug tube helps

Check out your local dealer or halfords online, you should be able to pick up from £15. I paid £10 from my local parts shop, also added induction kit which improved performance, pick up and nice little noise.

I would like to know how you get to the plugs, there is a large cowl with numerous bolts. I think when they are all undone the cowl lifts from the front on a pivot at the back (I think) and when this is lifted the plugs can be seen?? Is this so, because I would like to clean and gap the plugs.

can use other plugs,even single earth copper cored electrodes,but not recommended,and will need much changing more often.
