TRITON OPAL SHOWER?

The STOP switch has broken its spindle and so pops out. It looks as though the tiny boss on the inside of the panel which contacts the microswitch has a smaller spindle which is glued into the push button's slightly larger spindle in manufacture. I think Triton only sell the complete facia of the shower at £62 quid! Anyone had experience of this? Any suggestions? I have tried superglueing the boss onto the spindle end but to no avail.

Update at July 2011

The end cap on the end of the spigot which comes out of the back of the square button snapped off on mine, meaning that the button falls out constantly.

Buttons and Retainers (original part numbers listed are correct) but are no longer available from Triton - discontinued after 5 years.

The parts look like they are available from www.showerdoc.com (0131 538 4343).
