leaking oil res?

I have two saws one husqvarna and one stihl both leak bar oil out into the case if you do not emty them before putting away is this a seal issue or what and how is it fixed?

All chainsaws will continue to leak a reduced amount of chain oil when not in use as the residue in the pipes will empty out.
