my van wont start?

my escourt deisel van wont start but as soon as i tow it it starts and will start for the reat of that day

is the battery ok?? does it turn over? if it turns but wont fire crack off the injectors pipes where they go into the head get assistant to turn engine over, when/ if fuel piss*s out everywhere nip up the injector pipes and see what happens

Also get your battery checked it could just be that its not turning fast enough ,diesels work on heat/compression so they need a good battery to start.

If your glow plugs are working correctly ie on for about 10 secs then I would look at getting your compressions checked especially if it is an old van
