hotpoint cooker ud47/ut47?

oven is 2 years old and the main oven has stopped working not heat coming from it but the fan sounds like it is on.

The exact same thing has happened to me, mine is 2 years old too!

hi if the fan is going it could be the main oven element that is faulty, turn off the cooker open oven door and the plate at the back of the oven has four screw holding it undo these and remove the glass covering the light the panel should now be loose take this out the element is behind it is usually held in by 1 screw and one clip remove the element and take the cables off the back try not to let them fall through the holes if they do you will have to take back off the cooker to get them back. If there is no visible damage to the element you will need a continuity tester to test it if there is no continuity the element has blown, hope this helps
