the grill in my oven doesn't work properly?

I have a CDA CD 601 oven/grill. The oven works fine but when in grill mode it trips the electric when it reaches a certain temperature. Does the grill have a seperate thermostat that needs replacing?

sounds like a faulty grill element but you would need a mega to test the insulation value of the grill elements
