I need to know what steps to take to reboot my home security system. do i plug transformer in with battery connected, or do i have battery connected and then plug transformer in?

Power system down and then back up.
Connect your ac 1st and then battery.
Then at the keypad press the * and # at the same time.
If you want to default the panel back to factory settings(YOU LOOSE ALL PROGRAMMING) HIT *97 AND WAIT A MOMENT THEN HIT *99.
Then your done,,,your default keypad code is now 1234.
