code immobiliser citroen saxo vtr 1997?

i need to know how to reset the code immobiliser. i'v disconnected the battery checked fuses etc. and everytime i go to type the code i press each number and it isn't followed with a beep as it used to do! and now i can't disarm the immobiliser does any1 have any ideas?

swap the ecu with an older model ecu it will by pass the immobiliser

some damp may be in the buttons this happened jus reli push down on them see if they activate this would b the cheepest opetion

i have had a peugeot 106 gti engine put in my saxo vts and the engine wont start think its the immobiliser, how can i sort it.
