I know this may sound silly but when i turn my steeering wheel it's as if the steering wheel is crunching or the wheel is rubbing against something.The car i have is a S reg Renault Megane. Anyone any idea's please please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your noise is coming from around the front wheel arch areas most common faults are broken coil springs or tight strut/shocker top bearings, this would give you a very rough/notchy/ tight feel to the steering as well as noise, good luck...if not any of these maybe power steering pump leaking and out of fluid..
