electrical problem on non turbo berlingo van?

hi i have a berlingo van and it went to a back street garage to have the clutch changed. when i had it back most of the electrics were not working. ie wipers heaters, dash lights coming on and then going off about a minute later. no head lights only side lights, battery light and brake light stay on but alternater has been checked. all fuses seem ok any cheap tricks to repair this ?

hi thanx for your comments , it turned out to be a cranckshaft pickup sensor . the garage damaged it slightly when they replaced the clutch. it puts the vans electrics into eco mode to protect them. all electrics are fit and well now!
