Hi-Jacked Task manager?

When I hit control-alt-delete I get the process box window of Task Manager, but no tabs or menus. To close it I have to use TM to close itslf. Any help on how this occurred and how to restore TM to its usual state?

I was having the same problem and tried other things
to no avail. Stumbled upon this answer and it worked
like a charm.

Some people have found that when they open Task Manager, the tabs and taskbar have suddenly disappeared. If you accidentally double-click the empty space in the border around the tabs, Task Manager switches to this "Tiny foot print" mode. To switch Task Manager back to its normal display mode, just double-click the top border of the window.

Stay off bad sites and download ccleaner malware bytes and buy Norton Antivirus or spyware doctor free run a scan and delete all viruses and run ccleaner and malware bytes then do a full reboot you should start up fresh and fast

Some people have found that when they open Task Manager, the tabs and taskbar have suddenly disappeared. This behavior can occur if Task Manager is running in "tiny footprint" mode. If you accidentally double-click the empty space in the border around the tabs, Task Manager switches to this mode. To switch Task Manager back to its normal display mode, just double-click the top border of the window.
