how can I fix my 3 way electrolux fridge?

Electrolux 4261. Works on gas but won't work on 240v. the 240v light is on but the fridge won't work. Has anyone got any ideas as to what is wrong?

hi fridge element is toast,as long as all connections are correctly fitted

you have to watch for correct wattage on heating element 95w 125w etc
however fridge needs coming out of unit as element is found in chimmey with 240v connections to top of unit.

hi paul,you may alreadyknow that these fridge's work off heat so if its working with gas,i would say the element for the 240 volt has broke,i would try and find a caravan breaker's to replace it or check on net for new,best of luck
