Best way to fix it is to find a skip and put it in. Parts for NP models are now obsolete. If you could find the parts they would be expensive. Treat yourself to a new one.

Turn off copier. Find the connection from the sorter-finnisher and un plug. A E500 code means there is a problem with the sorter-finsher. Take it off-line and the copier should work by it's self
