how can i fix my car Fiat Punto 60 S?

when my car is running it feels like the petrol is not getting round the engine properly because it is very jerky and feels like its going to stall, then all of a sudden it will just take off and run ok.

Hi sounds like fuel fillter blocked you will find it underneath just in front of driver side back wheel. well worth a look
