How to reset immobiliser of 300 sel mercedes 1991?

i have changed the battery of merecedes 300 sel 1991.
immobiliser of car is showing red light as earlier it do but car is not get immobilise.can anyone tell how to reset immobiliser.

i know with some cars u can take both leads off of the battery and toching the leads together drain the copesaters in the memory of ecu. Hope this helps u may want to hold them together for about 5 mins and put them back on and ur car should fire streight up
