My screen when I use the mouse leaves a trail when scrolling down......I`m thinking that it is in the video card ........was thinking about pulling video card from another computer I have and installing it in this one that has the problem.....how would I go about this .....just swao the cards and will the video card be automatically reconized or would I need a driver .....

oh err umm, it might well be on its way out, if you only do internet and office work a cheap one off ebay would be ideal

That does not sound like a video card problem unless the whole screen is doing it, make sure you mouse pointer trails are turned on by clicking,

Start>Control Panel>Printers and other hardware>Mouse.

A small window should appear, click the 3rd tab at the top (Pointer options), near the bottom should be a bit called Visibility, you can turn it off from there if needed
