Timex has been really fair to me in the past...I've sent in watches for repair, and most of the time they have repaired or replaced the watch. If you mail the watch to Timex and include the handling fee, they will at least look at it and let you know what they can do. I believe you can go to most any store that sells Timex and secure a special watch mailer, that is addressed to Timex.
