engine management light?

my engine management light keeps flashing and the temprture gage keeps going from 90 to 0 thast when the light flashes.I get a message on the screen saying engine temprture too high. i cant find any fault with the car tho.

Have you checked for an air lock in the cooling system?
It could also possibly be a faulty temperature sensor
