Is it the pump on the NEFF dishwasher that needs replacing?

Our integrated NEFF dishwasher (don't know the model as it was here when we moved in) now has water that has not drained at the end of the cycle. I have cleared this and cleaned the filters but this hasn't helped. Is it the pump and is it a big job i.e. expensive to replace/repair?

No the pump has something stuck in it and needs to be cleaned out

No. It seems as if the pump has something lodged in it as I can turn the motor by moving its fan blade. But it is very stiff. Occasionally the pump and motor does work. I cannot see how to remove the motor and pump to clean it out.

just managed to replace the drain pump on a NEFF, not easy but doable - contact me if you need some tips of what to do and what not to do - find me on gmail by adding the normal gmail suffix

hi some models you can chek the pump blades from inside if you take the filters out there is a cover held in by one screw if you remove this srew (usually a star haeded screw ) and lift up the cover you an check to see if something is blocking the pump if not flick the blades around to see if it turns ok if its stiff or broken it may need replacing the cover has to be efixed for the mahine to pump. If the pump needs changing remove the kick board then unscrew the small plate on the front of the machine and you will see the pump this usually just unlips and turns off, hope this helps
