After emptying the water bottle on our white knight CL767 tumble dryer the sensor light has stayed on and the dryer will not restart.

Any ideas please?

take the lid off and at the back of the water bottle you will see a micro switch held on with a plastic mounted holder.theses plastic holders distort and will not allow the bottle to press the microswitch in and make the appliance work.replacement of this part is the only way to sort it out usually.to test, press micro switch with an insulated screwdriver
