how do i fix my whirlpool washing machine?

my washing machine has over filled with water and now will not do anything what is my next move?

your water pressure switch has 3 wires on it .one is common .one goes to motor. one goes to watervalve . when the washer level is met .and the machine is working properly .the water valve will be turned off .and the motor will be engaged .sounds to me like you have a bad water level switch
