WHITE KNIGHT 767C?

Hi could anyone give some help on why the heater element is not getting hot. The switch works the motor. I did some multlmeter checks and this is what occurs, when the machine is running, there is no power from the high/low switch, also no power feeding the element, when I do a contuity check on the element all beeps. When you do a continuty check from the sensors i get a beep, also a continuity beep occurs from the high/low switch.

When flickiking the timer switch completely round to the off quickly a small amount of voltage gets recordered at the element feeds then disapears.

Could it be that the capacitor has shorted?
or could it be the timer switch is not suppling power to the element?

Any help would be very grateful

Rgds

there is a thermostat right at the front on the duct that can fail.to get access you have to remove the whole drum.pain in the bum job!.timers can fail but not that often.capacitor is only used to start the motor so has no effect on the heating!.
