hi i've got a white knight cl 767sv tumble dryer i've fitted a new element and to put it on i had to disconnect the dim jack off the element to gert it through the hole now it trips the ring main trip switch has anyone got a photo or list how it should be please

new elements should come with a wiring diagram and a new connector.suspect you might not have a genuine part if these where not supplied
