hi, i have the same problem, with an R reg megane scenic. Blower only giving tepid air. Have just read that the matrix requires flushing but i have not tried this yet. Maybe this will help. Removing the two heater pipes and putting water (ie hose pipe) through the heater in reverse. Anyone have any other ideas?
