two things might work. one is to take the drain pipe and (after cleaning the end!) blowing hard down it, that should dislodge anything in the drain system.
the other is a little more labour intensive. you will need to locate and strip down the drain pump. as odd as it sounds, ive known dishwashers stop working over something as stupid as an orage pip. if something is in just the right position, it will stop the drain pump worknig correctly
