when I put my card key into position 1 ( radio etc work but not able to start ) nothing is working, i.e interior lights don't dim, radio doesn't work etc, its only when I push it fully in that it comes to life, anyone got any ideas as to what the problem may be

Read the hand book, just rang renault, they have said the card reader is faulty and its £250 for a new one, anyone know where to get a cheaper one from.
