TomTom One New Edition - charred component?

Hello, I have a TomTom One New Edition 4N00.005 (US/Canada) that no longer comes up. The green LED is not on either. This happened a couple weeks ago in the car and there was also a burnt component smell that was present. I have opened up the unit and there is one very small charred component in the left bottom corner that is labeled either D5 or D9 (can not tell without an assmebly microscope). Would anyone know what this component is and where I could find a replacement? My guess its probably a diode or rectifier of some sort.

Using an USB microscope, I've been able to identify the markings on D5. There is a cathode mark on it as well as
what looks to be a 0.5 or a omega symbol .5. My guess is that its a plastic 2 lead diode of some sort but there
is no way to identify the value or mfg. Can anyone identify this component?
