I DID ALL THE THINGS YOU SUGGESTED. NO GOOD. SCANNED FOR HARDWARE- NOTHING.
THE CD TRAY OPENS AND CLOSES. AND YOUR RIGHT THE DVD NO LONGER BURNS. IT NO LONGER READS ANY CD/DVD. WHEN I'M IN WMP OR ITUNES IT SAYS CONNECT OR RESTORE BURNER TO CONTINUE.
