How can I fix my Potterton Flamingo 40?

Hi I have a Potterton Flamingo 40 and I think that
thethermostat may be faulty.

Before the breakdown the water was very hot and now
I have a pilot light but the burner won't come on.

Is there a cut off switch?

I dont think this boiler has a cut off Tony.If you have a multi meter check across the gasvalve wires and see if there is 240 volts.If as i suspect there is the solenoid operator on the gasvalve has shot.
