citroen xsara picasso?

can anyone help me please i have a xsara picasso 2001 1.8 16v sometimes it starts andruns lovely then top end starts rattlin and it flashs stop low oil pressure i have tried flushing the engine a cupple of times but its done nothing please help it driving me nuts
