how can I drain and refill a snow globe?

I have a snow globe that is no longer full and the water is cloudy. Is there a way I can fix this myself?

Throw the snow globe against the wall.

After the glass shatters, wash the snow.

Get some super glue and glue the glass back together.

CAREFUL - be sure to add some clean tap water to your repaired globe before you glue the last piece of glass in place.

Voila - a beautiful creation!

Hi, I have the same problem and I may have found the answer. My globe would not come off, so despite the risk I drilled a small hole on the top between the decorations and drained the water out. I just found online that you can refill them with water and a small amount of mineral oil. This will make any glitter or snow that you add fall slowly. I'm going to try that, then glue the tiny hole closed and cover it will a small decorative star or something. Hope this helps!
