isolate the oven from the electric supply.
. open the oven door and remove the back plate(held on with 4 screws phillips head).
now you will see the fan and the element.
.pull oven out from the wall enough for you to gain access to the rear. ***be careful you don't damage the gas flexible pipe***
.remove the screws holding the rear cover.
. now you will see the rear of the element. this you will see has 3 cables connected to the element. make a note of the position of connections. black wire blue wire and middle yellow earth wire.
.disconnect wires.
now you will see 2 bolts holding the element in. unscrew nuts from bolts. element is now free to come out.
replace with new element ,
screw on bolts tighten .
reattach wires (make sure you fit them in same order as taken off).
reattach rear cover.
put oven back reattach back plate inside oven.
turn power back on and there you go.
not a hard job. just need to be `careful with connections and make notes `at every stage to remind you of how to reconnect....good luck
