my keyboard isnt typing correct?

my @ key is the number 2 key why is this can any1 help plz thanks nadine :)

Actually 2 is used as at the rate when you press shift+2 it will display and type at the rate symbol on 2, where if you press only single 2 then it will only display or type 2.

so make sure that you are typing in this way or not.

If yes, then there may be problem with your key board. Try to change your key board.

your keyboard is set up as a US type.. you need UK.

right click an empty area on the blue toolbar at the bottom of the screen. hover over toolbars / then select Language bar. you should get a little box appear near the clock with a EN in it? click on that and select "english UK"

Is the @ physically on the key, or does it just use that key when you type in the upper case.

If its the former, then it may be a keyboard destined for another country. If its the latter, then you need to go into control panel and make sure that the region info is set to UK.
