car won't start?

laguna 1.8 with card start.
Been told that the switch on the clutch/brake is faulty and just tie the wires together? can't see any switches where are they exactly and what do they look

My Alfa Romeo 156 T Spark keeps displaying all the lights known to man in my car and won't start first time. Keeps telling me as well that all my door are open even the booth really frustrating.

Should be under the dash on the clutch pedal arm
when ever you push in clutch it depresses the switch so the starter can engage ...had same problem on my s10 ...its a safety measure so kids can`t start the motor ....cut wires from switch and twist together and tape out of the way ....
