Water leak in Reanault Laguna footwell?

Renault laguna 2.0 RT 1998. Water leaks into the rear offside footwell. (I know it's not the plastic membrane inside the door)

ive got a laguna took it to renualt 3 time (water in foot well)
had the dranage cleaned out, now there saying need new seals on the doors!

this has cost me over £160 what rip off

If you make a little hole in the bottom of the door seal then the water that is running down the seal will make its way out of the car instead of in.

Hi,
You will probably find that the leak is coming from the bolts that hold the passenger front seat down!! the two back bolts of the passenger front seat are situated exposed, underneath the car.

You can buy new bolts and seals for this from Renault or do a diy job with some flexible rubber sealant, which is what I did and had no more problems. I didn't even touch any seals to do with the door!!!

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM PASSENGER REAR FOOT WELL SOAKING WET, IT WAS COMING THROUGH MY AERIAL IT WAS SLACK SO I TOOK IT OFF AND PUT SOME SILICON ON IT AND TIGHTENED IT, CURED THE PROBLEM.

i had same problem. changed membrane and door seal and filled with silicone around membrane. still leaks on heavy rain!!! soz l

just cut a little 5mm of the rubber seal at the middle joint on the door seal were the joint is thats the cure or if you have roofbars chuck them as they aint the best design on earth i should no i work for these plonkers
