AEG induction hob not working E3 showing on display?

They was a power cut at home and since power restored the message E3 has been displayed, Hob only 18months old any suggestions

think it might be a power board fault but dont quote me.I rang up for a board for one and it was more expensive than a new hob!!!.beyond economical repair and it was a similar age.might be best to go back to AEG and complain.they might help you out because of age
