no heating in my rover 25?

my rover is over heating in the engine and no heat is coming in to my car ive had the thermostat replaced and their is no oil leaking in to my engine any ideas what could be the proble please help

head gasket ive got the same problem water comes out from the exhuast and constantly every 3 days having to top up my water

no the oil is still black! and i have to keep toping up the water bottle

1st check if their is enough water in the water bottle, (check water level when engine is cold), but being a rover their is a chance the head gasket has gone, if the oil has gone a creamy colour it is a sign the head gasket has gone.
