My right indicator keeps going off randomly on my Peugeot 206 LX?

My right indicator on my 2001 Peugeot 206 keeps going off without me touching it. Generally when I turn the ignition on and if i were to turn the left one on the right one will come on once the left has switched off!

Has anybody had this problem and do you know how much / what it takes to fix it?? Thanks.

Had the same prob not hard to fix if have right parts.prob is inside the indicator box metal fillings build up and short it out just needs good clean.you need to open console around steering wheel to do so you need a TT15 hex drill bit and a thin adaptor to fit in the holes underneath to unscrew the 2 screws.once off there 2 screws holding the indicator you need a CR/VT8 hex drill bit to undo these then it justs slides out.undo the wires which should free it,most awkward to do is getting inside the indicator once done clean the metal track where the pin runs.it worked with mine has happened twice so far but seems todo the trick and saves money
