my hotpoint condenser dryer gives out no heat whilst it is on, only blows out cold air. Is this something i could fix myself? any help would be greatly appriciated.
my indesit just did the same
most likely one or both cut-out thermostats has failed
usually there are two of them next to the heater element assembly at the rear
unplug dryer and whip off the rear cover and you should see the assembly
the thermostats on mine are circular assemblies about the size of a 10p with 2 connectors on it
it might be the elements or the controller as well, but to start with i'd look at the thermostats (usually £10 - £15)
