hi had a vivacity stolen but now it has been recovered i need to change the ignition barrel but the nuts seem to not be able to take a socket as the right size for the nut but it is too thick to sit over the nut as there is like a tube the nut goes down can anyone help me please

ignition switch held on by one shear bolt. to take it off. use acenter punch or heavy duty nail and a hammer. hit the top of the bolt anti clockwise sill you can loosen it enough to screw it off. quite easy .not very tight.
