I have a 2001 Kitchen Aid Superba, side-by-side regrigerator. The ice maker is working, cubes are made and dropped into the inside tray. The outside mechanism only dispenses crushed ice, however. When the "cubes" button is pressed it has no effect, only crushed ice is dispensed. The small white plastic piece inside the fridge, where the auger rod fits on, does lift up and down freely. The "trap door" opens and closes when the auger rod is turned, so it is not frozen. Problem seems to be in the electric switch. Do you have any suggestions/solution? Thank You, KD
