Hi...you can get a paint on conductor in most auto stores looks like nail varnish just repaint the lines on rear window where there is no heat. it works. good hunting.

There will be a break in the copper heating element most good car stores (Halfords) sell a silver loaded paint that you can paint over the break and restore the full heating element
