How can I get my Kenwood dishwasher to programme?

My Kenwood dishwasher, KDW12ST3A will turn on but wont programme (about one attempt in eight it will work!). Also, very recently the door wont shut tight so even if you could programme it you couldn't use it!!!
Can anyone help?
