why is there no water in the drawer in my dryer?

I own a bocsh dryer with a condenser. Lately there has been no water accumulating in the drawer even after putting in wet clothes like heavy towels. I cleaned all the parts and do all the time and never had a problem with the dryer up till now.

Called in a tech and he insists that he has to take the machine to the lab to take it apart to check and I still think that there is a blockage somewhere that is preventing the water from entering the drawer. There is no water under the machine on the wall behind it or any place else

I agree, it sounds like a blockage to the drain drawer. You need to get someone to open it up and look but I can't see why they have to take it away - sounds like a ploy to make more money out of you. Find a repair 'man' who is happy to check it out in front of you so you can see what's wrong and know you're not being taken for a ride - it could be quite simple and therefore cheap to fix.
Don't hang about though because that water has got to go somewhere and if it isn't going where it should be then it may end up going somewhere it causes real problems!
