ok you can put a test lite or some type of a buzzer in line where fude goes ..as long as light lites or buzzer sounds the short is still there .....while disconnecting items such as starter ect watch and see if light goes out or buzzer quits blowing ..then start moving wiring harness away from frame ect so if its shorted you will see this too .good luck ..I used to use a buzzer so when I was in a place where I couldn`t see the light I could tell by the sound of the buzzer
